Job Title: Global Trade Leader

The Department of State Development is seeking an experienced professional to drive the state's trade strategy. As a senior leader within the Trade and International group, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing initiatives that support South Australian businesses to expand into global markets.

Responsibilities:
  • This role leads the development and delivery of trade programs and initiatives that strengthen international relationships and attract investment.
  • You will lead a high-performing team to deliver trade-related strategies, foster strong collaboration with industry partners and overseas networks.

A key focus will be representing South Australia in high-level trade forums and driving growth in priority sectors through strategic market access and partnerships.

Profile:

With a strong understanding of international markets, trade policy and export development, you will be an experienced executive with proven capability in driving cross-sector outcomes, managing complex stakeholder environments and delivering economic impact.

Your strategic mindset, exceptional influencing skills and sound judgement will enable you to represent the state with credibility and confidence on sensitive issues.
