Trade Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our trade finance products, including trade credit insurance, letters of credit, supply chain finance, export credit agencies, risk management and trading terms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting standards and analytical skills, with experience in Accounts Receivable roles and customer service. They will also be proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage global trade insurance policy, monitoring limit exposure and reporting overdue debt in line with policy guidelines.
- Evaluate export activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Process and manage trade finance instruments, such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit and related documentation.
- Provide timely support and resolution for customer queries and concerns.
- Support colleagues in transactions involving other banks and contribute to maintaining strong banking relationships.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable role with exposure to customer service.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
