Disability Support Worker

This is a permanent part-time opportunity with a minimum of 16 hours a fortnight across Northwest and Western Sydney.
- We offer a SCHADS Level 2 base rate starting from $33.41 per hour (depending on experience) with additional penalty rates, superannuation, and salary packaging benefits.
- Our salary packaging benefits allow you to pay less tax, up to a maximum of $18,550 per year.
- A fixed roster with a combination of weekday and Saturday shifts is required.
- We are flexible and can work 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm.
Our service operates 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm. The roster looks like:
e.g. 9am to 1pm on Wednesday and Saturday. Additional shifts - morning, afternoon, evening including weekend shifts can be offered.
About the RoleWe are currently looking for flexible and dedicated Disability Support Workers to engage with participants living with various physical and mental disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across their homes in Western, Northwestern, Southwestern and Inner Sydney.

Key Responsibilities- Aiding with daily life activities both at home and in the community.
- Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavors.
- Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
- Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.
- Previous experience or qualifications in disability or aged care.
- Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check.
- NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates) and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role.
- First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.
- Maximum allowable up to $18,550 salary packaging available.
