Job Description

Job Title: Children's Disability Support Worker

Location: Sydney, Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: $30-$40 per hour (pro-rated)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Professional, you will work with children with disabilities, providing personalized support to help them achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal activities, personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and mobility
  • Supervise day-to-day tasks and support the wellbeing of the client through physical activities
  • Assist the client in developing skills and achieving their goals to live autonomously and contribute actively to the community
  • Implement personalized support to match the requirements of the client
  • Meet the expectations of the client and understand their unique lifestyle goals

Requirements:

  • Disability Support Certificate Level 3
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
