Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalized support and care to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and services to clients with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage clients to engage in their own lives, pursuing their interests and goals
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or Aged Care
  • Experience working with clients with disabilities, preferably in a community care setting
  • Current Drivers Licence and Reliable Car
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including morning and afternoon shifts
  • Adaptability and willingness to work with diverse individuals, including those with challenging behaviors
