Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and supervision to young people in a residential setting.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Assist with daily activities, support their understanding of self-care, education, and recreational activities.
  • Promote a safe and positive living environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements
  • Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers).
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.).
  • Experience working with young people/children.
  • Experience working in other support work related fields, i.e. disability, mental health, aged care, and childcare.
