**Blood Donation Career Opportunity**

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring Australia's supply of blood products by working closely with generous donors.

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and interviewing potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability to donate, providing clinical oversight and guidance to other team members during the blood collection process, and completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.

You will also be responsible for setting up machines and collections equipment, inserting and removing needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma, managing adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance, and monitoring donors post-donation and assisting them to rebook for their next donation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer-facing skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You must hold a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and a current AHPRA registration, as well as be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday.

A reliable vehicle and driver's licence are also essential for this position.
