HR Complex Case Resolution Specialist

The ideal candidate will lead complex workplace investigations into misconduct, bullying, harassment, discrimination and other sensitive matters. This involves cultivating a safe, respectful and inclusive work environment through thoroughness and well-documented processes.
Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with leaders and employees to guide them through resolution processes. Evidence-based analysis is used to prepare clear findings and recommendations for senior management.
Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to draw on subject matter expertise and support effective case resolution.
Accurate records and case documentation are maintained throughout the lifecycle to ensure timely administration, reporting and confidential communication.
Supporting the development of actions for complex people matters aligns with upholding CSIRO's Code of Conduct, values, diversity and safety commitments at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and conduct fair and thorough investigations into complex workplace issues.
- Undertake evidence-based analysis and prepare clear findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and case documentation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective case resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Industrial Relations, Employment Law or related discipline.
- Specialised workplace investigation qualifications and at least five years' experience conducting workplace or regulatory investigations.
- Strong judgement, independence and risk-based decision-making in handling complex cases.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards and fostering respectful, collaborative workplace behaviours.
