Job Overview

AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Team Leader, Access & Outage Planning to coordinate and deliver scheduled outages, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to manage outage schedules and coordinate network access.
  • Promote a positive, productive work environment through mentorship and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including customer notification protocols.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain high performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) targets.
  • Support continuous improvement of network accuracy and customer experience.
  • Contribute to data accuracy and risk mitigation in all planned outages.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing within the Access & Outage Planning team.
Requirements
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in an operational or planning role.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership position, mentoring and developing team members.
  • Strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and compliance standards.
  • Problem-solving skills and experience managing complex challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards, including the Code of Practice on Electrical Safety.
