The North East Link Project is a major infrastructure project in Victoria, Australia, aimed at improving the state's freeway network. The project involves the construction of twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges, which will reduce journey times and divert heavy vehicles away from local roads.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Programs Manager to lead and optimise our onboarding processes, ensuring full compliance with the Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG). The successful candidate will oversee the Damstra mobilisation system, drive process efficiencies, and collaborate with contractors and internal teams to deliver seamless onboarding and workforce strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilisation Leadership: Lead and coordinate all mobilisation activities for contractors and internal stakeholders using the Damstra system, ensuring smooth onboarding processes across the project.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain proactive relationships with key stakeholders to meet their compliance and management plan requirements.
  • Compliance & Strategy: Provide expert advice on site access security linked to the Damstra software and ensure compliance with the MPSG for subcontractors.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process efficiencies to enhance mobilisation outcomes and drive continuous improvement within existing frameworks.
  • Workforce Management: Analyse workforce data, forecast needs, and strategize to meet or exceed MPSG targets, aligning with project and industry requirements.
  • Training & Development: Design learning programs for career development, leadership, and compliance with the project's skills matrix. Lead training sessions for new mobilisation team members.
  • Reporting & Audits: Produce monthly mobilisation dashboards and audit reports to keep the project on track with compliance and performance targets.
