Part-Time Commercial and Strategic Finance Role

About the Role
  • Job Description: Manage and mentor the Accountant, oversee daily finance operations, and ensure accuracy in coding, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Financial Analysis & Strategy: Interpret financial results, challenge assumptions, and drive insight-led decisions. Identify risks and opportunities early, and recommend strategies to improve financial performance and resilience.
  • Compliance & Governance: Oversee financial compliance with statutory and internal policy requirements. Monitor and improve internal controls, recommending enhancements to strengthen governance as the business scales.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong background in accounting, finance, or business partnering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial leaders.
  • Experience with accounting and reporting tools (e.g., Xero, Excel, Power BI).
