About the Opportunity

As a senior leader in our institution, you will be responsible for overseeing the Humanities department and delivering curriculum that fosters a love of Humanities subjects in students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Humanities team to develop engaging programs that promote academic excellence.
  • Design, implement, and assess teaching programs aligned with Australian Professional Standards, QLD curriculum frameworks, and educational trends.
  • Contribute to the institution's strategic planning to support teaching and learning priorities.
What We Are Looking For
  • Alignment with our institution's Christian ethos and a demonstrated commitment to their faith community.
  • Australian qualification as a teacher with QLD registration or equivalent.
  • Ability to teach a range of Humanities subjects, including Senior Business, Legal Studies, Modern History, and Social & Community Studies.
