Job Description

As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team responsible for maintaining and performing AM, FM & Digital Radio and TV broadcast networks transmission systems and infrastructure. You will ensure service delivery targets and expectations are met while minimising risk to services.

This role requires travel within the state and may involve interstate travel for training and emergency response purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Senior Broadcast Technician skills, including in-service restoration, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, proof of performance testing, and effectively managing contractors.
  • A high level of customer service skills, ability to manage high-impact faults, and efficiently restore services.
  • Ability to coach and develop other technicians, undertake reporting activities, and work in line with a strict health and safety policy.
  • A current Driver's Licence, electronics technician experience with RF knowledge, and background in maintenance of transmission and control equipment.
