Job Title:

Transmission Lineworker

">About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Lineworker to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transmission network.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair transmission line assets
  • Perform inspections and identify condition concerns
  • Prepare safe work methods and associated safety documentation
  • Mentor apprentices and junior technicians
  • Act as crew leader where appropriate
  • Coordinate with Field Coordinators and Site Managers
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems – Transmission and/or Distribution Overhead
  • Flexibility to support on-call/after-hours requests and respond to system incidents
  • A current Australian Driver's License
  • Understanding of inspection, maintenance, and construction requirements associated with transmission line infrastructure
  • High-Risk Work Licenses (e.g., WP, RA, CV)
  • Experience in high-voltage maintenance (pole replacement, insulator changeouts, hot joint repair, etc.)
