We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and work with a sophisticated client base.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex accounting and taxation engagements, be a regular point of contact for clients, and delegate tasks to team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and be integral to complex accounting and taxation engagements
- Be a regular point of contact for clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service
- Delegate tasks with responsibility to team members
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification and completion of your CA/CPA qualification
- Relevant expertise as a Senior Accountant in a business advisory environment
- Advanced accounting technical knowledge, including application of accounting standards and compiling consolidated financial statements
- Advanced knowledge in areas of taxation and corporate accounting
- Demonstrate due diligence transaction experience
- Exposure to taxation consolidation is an advantage
- Ability to use, navigate, and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages (i.e. MYOB and Xero), and larger enterprise products (an advantage)
- Advanced problem-solving skills and application of professional judgment through a commercial lens
- Well-refined oral and written communication skills
- Comprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and ability to efficiently work with large datasets
- Adaptable to engage a wide range of growing clients (towards listings)
- Outstanding attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Ability to integrate with the team and collaborate effectively

Salary Range
The salary for this role is estimated to be between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
