Overview

360HR Solutions is representing a long-established Wollongong based practice seeking a commercially minded accountant to step into a pivotal leadership role. From day one, you will be owning and operating your practice, supported by a structured succession plan and ongoing guidance from the outgoing principal. This is a rare opportunity to transition into ownership balancing autonomy with stability, with an existing portfolio of loyal clients, trusted referral networks, and deep community roots.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tax, compliance, and advisory services to individuals, SMEs, and family groups.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, BAS, and financial statements across various entity types.
  • Build and manage long-standing client relationships with a focus on trust and personalised service.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax planning and business structuring.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Implement improvements in internal systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Support succession planning and contribute to a smooth ownership transition.

  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in public practice.
  • Registered Tax Agent, or eligible and willing to obtain registration.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain both.
  • Strong client relationship management and advisory experience.
  • Leadership capability and experience mentoring junior staff.
