Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our tax practice, providing strategic guidance and expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tax, compliance, and advisory services to our clients.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, BAS, and financial statements with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax planning and business structuring, ensuring our clients' financial well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards, staying up-to-date with the latest changes and developments.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in internal systems and processes, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A CA or CPA qualification.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in public practice, with a strong background in taxation.
  • Registration as a Tax Agent, or eligibility to obtain registration.
  • Proven client relationship management and advisory skills, with a track record of success.
  • Leadership capability, with experience mentoring junior staff and guiding teams to achieve their goals.
