About Stride: We are a leading mental health service delivery organization with expertise in working with adults and young people, and in early childhood intervention.

Our goal is to provide high-quality mental health services that cater to the unique needs of our community in Tasmania. Our team of dedicated professionals works closely with clients to identify alternatives to presenting to emergency departments and access support from trained mental health professionals within their community.

Key responsibilities include acting as the central point of communication, providing secretarial and reception services to clients aged 18+, and supporting clinical and management staff. Medical Reception duties involve taking incoming calls, directing callers to relevant staff members, appointment scheduling, and maintaining client records.

General office tasks include opening and distributing mail, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving documents. Additionally, general housekeeping is required to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and clients.

Requirements:

  • Excellent administration, time management, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Well-developed customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the mental health sector and ability to liaise with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proven record of working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Additional requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications, and the ability to learn new medical software programs. A valid driver's license and current Working With Children Check clearance are also essential.
