Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Junior Medical Officers, including Interns and Resident Medical Officers.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders on educational initiatives and training programs within the region, ensuring alignment with national requirements.
  • Work closely with the Office of the Executive Director of Medical Services on regional and state-wide responsibilities in post graduate medical education.
  • Provide strategic leadership and support for the delivery of undergraduate general medical education programs.
About the Role

The Department provides comprehensive medical services, including acute and sub-acute care, as well as undergraduate and graduate clinical training programs.

Benefits and Rewards

The salary range is $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation. Additional benefits include salary packaging options, motor vehicle allowance, relocation assistance and generous leave entitlements.
