About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a Part Time basis, approximately 4 days per week. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail.

The Practice Nurse will:

  • Be experienced in the delivery of GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments, CVC program, ECGs, Spirometry, urine testing, diabetes cycle of care, Asthma Management Plan, Comprehensive Medical Assessments
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
  • Provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
  • Ensure that clients receive education on the use of therapies and treatments prescribed and feedback on the outcomes of therapy and treatment
  • Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
  • A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group
  • Provide general nursing support to the General Practitioners

About You

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Current APHRA registration as Registered or Enrolled Nurse is essential
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Primary Health care setting or within General Practice is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
