About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer at JJ's Waste & Recycling. As a key member of our depot operations team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our large commercial customer base.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and efficiently action inbound customer calls and enquiries
  • Provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Ability to prioritize and perform duties in a fast-paced and varied role
  • Data entry
  • High-volume customer interaction
  • Answering telephones, responding to email and portal enquiries
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-up
  • Facilitate flow of information between sales, operations, administration, and management
  • Able to multi-task and demonstrate an enthusiasm and determination to perform duties in a fast-paced and varied role
  • Other duties as requested
  • Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders
  • Commit to JJ's Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Customer Service/Call Centre experience is essential
  • Experience in a similar role – including high-volume customer support
  • Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail
  • Able to work well within a team and autonomously
  • Experience in transport, logistics, or service industry – highly regarded but not essential
  • Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential service industry
