Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage commercial and development settlements processes.

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately manage loans from Letter of Offer stage through to settlement within required time-frames, providing exceptional customer experience.

You will liaise with solicitors, brokers, and borrowers to achieve settlement in the required time frame, assisting with and supporting the wider team with settlement enquiries, lending initiatives, and reporting requirements.

In addition to the above, you will provide essential support to the team manager, assisting in workflow coordination and team management, knowledge-sharing, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of files for settlement in accordance with policy and procedure, adhering to all legislative requirements.
  • Ensure documentation received satisfies requirements of outstanding conditions prior to settlement.
  • Coordination of training for the team, including providing expert advice.
  • Effective communication and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competent with programs: Loan Closer, Equifax, Valuation Exchange (Valex), Global X.
  • Support to the Manager as and when required with people leadership tasks.

About You:

  • A highly motivated and numerically skilled individual with 5+ years' experience managing mortgage settlements involving construction and commercial securities.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end loan process and documentation requirements.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
