Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping ADF personnel recover from physical and psychological injuries. You will use your clinical expertise to support the rehabilitation process, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional capacity evaluations and worksite assessments
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with clients, medical specialists, and other treatment providers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure effective rehabilitation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping people rehabilitate
