Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding process for new clients, configuring payroll systems, and ensuring seamless integration with our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Implementation: Facilitate training sessions for clients on our Astute payroll platform, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Configuration and Discovery: Conduct configuration and discovery calls to gather requirements and configure platforms accordingly.
  • Client and Project Management: Support project review calls, coordinate and deliver on project deliverables, and manage changes to scope and delivery schedule.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation.
  • System Setup and Parallel Payroll Process: Define, agree, and configure all interfaces, reports, and systems configurations for successful parallel and live payroll delivery.
  • Go-Live Transition and Sign-Off: Ensure a smooth transition to the new payroll system, including sign-off and handover documentation.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll project matters, providing weekly status reports to clients and escalating issues as needed.
  • Testing: Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring a smooth transition to the new payroll system.
  • Account Management: Work with existing clients to sustain a strong working relationship through our Account Management program.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Payroll implementation experience preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in running payroll.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Strong knowledge of AU Payroll requirements, including modern awards and EBAs.
  • Payroll Systems: Experience with various payroll systems and software.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Ability and interest in client-facing project management, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
