About the Role

Pierre Fabre Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial management of our Australian subsidiary. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal financial performance of our business, driving growth and profitability, and providing strategic financial guidance to our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial policies and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and profitability
  • Oversee the production and dissemination of financial statements, including consolidated financial analysis and management reports
  • Supervise and control the production of accounting and financial information, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with local and group financial reporting standards, including SFRS and IFRS
  • Lead the consolidation process, including monthly closing, hard close, and interco reconciliation
  • Develop and manage financial models and business cases to evaluate new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present financial and management reports to the management team and board of directors
  • Ensure the implementation of group policies and procedures, including transfer pricing and tax compliance
  • Lead the digitalization of the finance function to improve productivity and data reliability
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, inventory, and credit management
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and good practices
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in accounting, tax, and financial analysis
  • Proven track record of successful business experience in an international environment
  • Excellent accounting, tax, and financial analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and VBA
  • Experience in FMCG and pharmaceuticals, with knowledge of Microsoft AX
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with multiple stakeholders and brands
  • Fluent in English, with French an asset
  • Australian CPA an asset
