As a Support Counsellor, you will work with individuals and groups to help them navigate through relationship distress, delivering timely, compassionate, and expert care that strengthens wellbeing and connection.
This role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based in-person counselling to carers through individual and group modalities, supporting wellbeing, reducing stress, anxiety, and low mood, and enhancing resilience.
- You will deliver collaborative, flexible, and person-centred counselling plans based on assessments, risk evaluations, and client goals.
- You will conduct wellbeing screenings and maintain clinical case notes, client, and administrative records.
- You will use evidence-based therapies such as Person-Centred Therapy and CBT, incorporating additional modalities like strengths-based approaches, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy as appropriate.
