Job Title:

Career Opportunities for a Mental Health Specialist

  • Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients, working closely with multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers.

• Use clinical best practice to restore wellbeing and improve daily functioning for those in need, bringing compassion, expertise, and impact to every interaction.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Endorsement or working towards endorsement as a clinical psychologist
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical psychology assessments, neuropsychological assessments, evidence-based measures and interventions using CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT, ACT, and other such approved therapy modalities
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems
  • A current valid driver's license and ability to travel within the LHD
