About Mental Health Nursing Roles

This position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes recovery-oriented principles and collaborative approaches.

You will interact with consumers, their nominated carers, and families to ensure inclusive, responsive, and rehabilitative care, while promoting evidence-based interventions that support long-term wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), demonstrating expertise in mental health and mental health nursing assessments and interventions and experience working with individuals with mental illness.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision is essential.

Knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007 is required. Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role.
