Job Opportunity: Strategic Communications Specialist
Are you a specialist in communications and campaigns passionate about social policy committed to the wellbeing of all Australians?
We seek experienced professionals at varying levels to support the delivery of portfolio outcomes by providing strategic communications campaigns and public relations services.
You will have the opportunity to work across the communication profession including strategic communication stakeholder engagement advertising campaigns and social media. The focus of your role will depend on the individual needs of the section.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Communication Account Managers in delivering communication activities assist with developing integrated communication plans and strategies maintain successful relationships with policy areas and anticipate their strategic communication needs.
Develop communication materials for various audiences coordinate procurement and management of communication contracts monitor and report on the implementation of strategic communication initiatives.
Work effectively as part of a team to deliver results cultivate internal and external relationships and positively contribute to the culture of the Campaigns and Strategic Communication Branch.
About You:
Passionate about social policy excellent oral and written communication skills experience in public affairs strategic communication or social media teams in the public or private sector essential tertiary qualification in Communications Journalism Marketing or related fields.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical problem-solving skills excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
