Lead Quality Improvement Specialist in Aged Care

This is an exciting opportunity to drive quality excellence and education in a leading aged care provider on the Central Coast, NSW. As a Lead Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a key leadership role in driving continuous improvement, mentoring clinical teams, and fostering a high-performance culture that supports quality aged care delivery.

  • Provide expert guidance, coaching, and support in clinical best practice and compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote aged care quality standards and scope of practice among team members
  • Maintain and action the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI)
  • Manage and submit data for the National Quality Indicator Program (NQIP)
  • Oversee monthly care audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Support excellence in resident care through assessment, planning, and evaluation
  • Ensure all documentation meets policy, legislative, and privacy standards
About You
  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
  • Proven experience in quality improvement, staff development, and training delivery
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and address non-compliance in staff practices
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment and/or postgrad qualification in Aged Care
