About the Role

This position coordinates and is responsible for a range of financial operations and administrative tasks relating to acquisitions and commissioning of television broadcasting, online and digital rights.

The role involves processing all acquired and commissioned payments in line with ongoing evolution in a complex multi-platform environment.

This includes reporting to the Operations Manager, maintaining database systems, financial reporting, and liaising with stakeholders.

Daily Tasks:
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure prompt payments/disbursements for all acquired and commissioned content.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on recoupment.
  • Arrange for supply and distribution of withholding tax certificates to overseas stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence relating to payment queries and other matters.
Business Systems & Processes:
  • Maintain accuracy of payment details in ORACLE and IBMS databases.
  • Maintain up-to-date filing and reporting systems using proper naming conventions.
  • Create Purchase Requisitions for operational transactions as required.
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of financial transactions between ORACLE and IBMS systems.
About You

To be successful, you will maintain high standards in your work while completing repetitive, complex rights data capture tasks.

Adaptability, organisational skills, and attention to detail are essential in this deadline-driven environment.

Previous experience in finance and/or administration or related support positions is desirable.

This role requires efficiency, reliability, and skilled administrative support, including financial administration processes and electronic document management.
