Executive Financial Leadership Opportunity

Ford Australia is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. This critical role will lead the overall financial strategy, governance, and performance of the ANZ National Sales Company.

The CFO will be appointed to the Board of Directors, holding significant statutory and legal responsibilities. They will play a key role in shaping product development decisions and corporate strategy, reporting directly to the International Markets CFO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial leadership for ANZ, developing and executing strategy aligned with global objectives.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and insights that drive profitable growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the transformation of the finance function into a proactive, insight-led business partner.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting (IFRS/local GAAP), maintain strong internal controls, and guarantee comprehensive compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
About You:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Possession of a CPA, CA, or equivalent internationally recognized professional accounting qualification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, ideally gained within a multinational organization or the automotive/OEM sector.
