Cloud Transformation Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Transformation Leader to drive enterprise cloud transformation in AWS. This senior role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud technology strategies for clients.

  • Govern complex AWS cloud transformation programs, balancing technical depth with strategic oversight, to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with C-suite and senior executives, positioning the organization as a trusted partner for long-term transformation.
  • Provide strategic technology advisory on cloud digital transformation themes such as data, security, and operating model evolution.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand services and co-creating transformation roadmaps with clients.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in cloud modernization, data, hybrid cloud architecture, and DevSecOps, and translate these into actionable strategies for clients.
  • Represent the organization's point of view on cloud transformation at client briefings, industry events, and partner forums, through developing frameworks, accelerators and position papers.
  • Mentor and develop consultants, growing the next generation of cloud and technology leaders.
  • Share expertise across the organization, ensuring alignment with global best practices while adapting to the Australian Financial Services market.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience leading cloud transformation programs (such as: cloud migration, modernisation, multi-cloud adoption, cloud FinOps).
  • Broad technology leadership background covering areas such as enterprise architecture, application modernization, data platforms, or digital operating models.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and represent a strategic technology point of view in boardroom discussions.
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills, with a track record of driving growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to guide both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Appropriate certifications in Cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and security considerations in Financial Services is an advantage but not mandatory.
