Our Culinary Team Member Role

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our culinary team as a skilled kitchen hand.

Working closely with our Centre Chef, you will prepare nutritious meals and purees that meet dietary requirements for babies and children.

You will have the opportunity to provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Educators, ensuring the highest level of food safety by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen in accordance with Food Authority requirements and industry standards.

Additional responsibilities include greeting families with a warm smile, making barista-style coffees, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be required to manage time effectively and communicate efficiently to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Requirements:

  • Current Food Safety Certificate
  • Current State relevant Working with Children's Check
  • Current Child Protection Training
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates
  • Experience cooking for young children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week
