Job Title

The Opportunity

This position plays a crucial role in assisting the coordination and delivery of project Configuration Management activities according to the CM Plan.

Effective CM activity on this project is vital for customer acceptance of each vessel and enables successful handover to sustainment activities. The role also involves identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of CM functions - planning, identification, control, status accounting, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and delivering project CM activities.
  • Ensure accurate capture of configuration information/changes within Teamcenter Unified.
  • Conduct Configuration Audits and report activities.
  • Regularly report CM status.
  • Act on behalf of the CM Lead in their absence.
  • Coordinate, maintain, and assess CM impacts for the project Engineering Change Process and facilitate the process.
  • Adhere to processes to ensure consistent outputs.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of established processes.
  • Facilitate teamwork between internal and external parties.
  • Support integration of disciplines across project activities (e.g., Design to Production, Electrical to Mechanical, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Health and Safety Construction White Card
  • Certificate IV or higher level in a technical discipline
