Sales Support Livestock and Administration Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a key role that will provide critical support to our Livestock Sales team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for handling livestock sales and related administrative tasks, including processing sales, attending sale days at the saleyards and on farm, providing customer service, managing vendor and purchaser accounts, and performing branch administrative tasks.
  • They will also assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts, including reconciliation and debt collection, and work a rotating Saturday roster.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment, with a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. You will also require excellent attention to detail, effective verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.

  • You should have knowledge of or experience with cattle and/or sheep livestock, although this is not essential. It is also desirable to have ability to identify ways to improve internal processes and excellent computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • You must be able to work efficiently and unassisted, and have a proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
