Livestock Sales Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Livestock Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their livestock needs and develop effective solutions to meet those needs.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in livestock handling and sales, as well as strong negotiation and communication skills. You will also have the ability to integrate into a team environment and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of yarding, penning, and drafting of livestock at the sales. You will also work closely with the Livestock team leaders to offer support and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of yarding, penning, and drafting of livestock at the sales
  • Work closely with the Livestock team leaders to offer support and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively develop effective multi-level and multi-activity relationships with key customers across the business

You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and regional industry personnel, as well as build partnerships with existing and prospective livestock clients.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in livestock handling and sales
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to integrate into a team environment
  • Proven experience in negotiation, sales, and marketing
