Overview

We are offering a full-time permanent Sales Support & Livestock Administration role to join our Wagga Wagga branch to support our Livestock Sales team.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include handling livestock sales and related administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Processing Livestock sales; predominantly Saleyard Sales twice weekly, private sales, other agent sales and clearing sales.
  • Attending sale days at the saleyards and on farm at Stud Sales when required.
  • Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions.
  • Perform branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution and general office duties.
  • Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts including reconciliation and debt collection.
  • Work a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).

  • Knowledge or experience with cattle and/or sheep livestock is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes.
  • Excellent computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Able to work efficiently and unassisted.
