Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team in Perth or Brisbane offices. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving safe operations and leading a team of safety professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Coach senior leaders in their safety behaviours and programs to drive safe operations
- Manage and lead a large portfolio within our business
- Develop and maintain a safety management system and approach across all levels of the business
- Investigate incidents to drive a rigorous approach to root cause identification and close out of corrective actions
- Initiate and administer safety improvement, education and achievement/monitoring programs for workplaces within the regions
- Support and maintain company certification to Australian and International standards
- Develop relationships with clients to demonstrate how the company's operations and programmes effectively manage their risk and add commercial value to their operations and business strategy
- Provide regular reporting to the business
- Proven track record in leading and improving safe operations
- Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring HSEQ programmes in a multi-service environment
- Degree/Diploma in relevant field and/or Certificate IV Work Health and Safety
- Demonstrable experience within a trades environment
- Experience in managing inter-relationships across the company and stakeholders
