WorkPac is seeking a Principal Health, Safety & Wellness professional to join our esteemed client's team in Port Hedland. This is a Monday to Friday, permanent opportunity with a relocation allowance and housing provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain workplace health, safety, and wellness programs.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and standards.
- Conduct workplace health and safety audits.
- Oversee the implementation, compliance, and management of the WHS Management System and Audit programs.
- Coordinate the development of comprehensive WHS training programs.
- Investigate incidents throughout the organization.
- Prepare monthly WHS reports for the Executive Manager, Human Resources, or CEO.
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety (Advanced Diploma or Higher).
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2020, Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act WHS legislation, policies, and Procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of workplace Health, Safety, and wellness professionals.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and/or experience in designing and delivering health & safety training (Desirable).
- ICAM Qualification or Qualified in investigating workplace incidents (Desirable).
