Mental Health Professional for Student Support

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join one of our partner schools' Wellbeing Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health support and guidance to students experiencing various issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to address students' needs.
- Develop and implement programs that enhance student wellbeing and promote positive mental health outcomes.
- Manage a diverse caseload effectively, prioritizing student needs and providing timely interventions.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the field.
- Demonstrated expertise working with children and adolescents, including those with complex needs.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

In return, Prospero Teaching offers a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, which includes a base salary of $95,000 per annum, plus superannuation and generous benefits.
