Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary transport, infrastructure and development planning projects.
About The Role
- You will work within project teams to support project delivery through undertaking transport analysis, designs and solutions for development and infrastructure projects.
- This would involve tasks such as undertaking area wide transport demand analysis through to detailed demand and operational assessment for development, road and transport infrastructure projects.
- You will support significant and complex projects, lead small-medium sized projects, and will likely be contributing to multiple concurrent projects. This will require you to be responsible for predicting and planning future resourcing.
Key Skills And Qualifications:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in relevant fields such as engineering, transport, town planning, mathematics or economics.
- A minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience in Traffic Engineering or Transport Planning, preferably within a consulting business environment.
- Depth of knowledge of traffic engineering principles.
- Experience with SIDRA Intersection and/or similar modelling packages.
- Road Safety Audit and Traffic Impact Assessment experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to consider all modes in transport assessments including people who walk and ride.
