The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Traffic Project Manager to spearhead the execution of complex traffic engineering projects.

  • Lead and contribute to the development of innovative traffic staging and temporary traffic management designs
  • Provide expertise in pre-contract phase traffic inputs
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to establish effective traffic strategies on large-scale projects
  • Engage with clients and site teams to ensure seamless alignment of traffic management with project methodologies
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster team capability growth
  • Integrate engineering design with practical constructability thinking
Key Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering with a proven track record of success
  • In-depth understanding of traffic management, staging, signals, and road/network operations
  • Demonstrated project delivery and/or project management expertise (preferably with a contractor or consultant-to-contractor)
  • Strong working knowledge of road design, including temporary traffic layouts and barrier systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SIDRA
  • PWZTMP (NSW) and/or TMD (QLD) accreditation
  • Accredited Road Safety Auditor (preferred)
  • Chartered status or actively working towards it
