About the Role
The Complaints Coordinator plays a critical role in the assessment of complaints received to ensure they meet the requirements of legislation for dispute resolution.
This is an ongoing full-time position available within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission team.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of Victoria's key human rights laws or demonstrated ability to obtain this quickly.
They will also possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor communications according to audience and/or preference.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed correspondence notifying clients of the decision of the Head of Dispute Resolution and Enquiries whether their complaint is accepted for dispute resolution or further information is required.
- Ongoing assessment of complaints received to ensure they meet the requirements of legislation for dispute resolution.
