About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join our team at Bega Cheese Group. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for creating and managing the Production Schedule on a daily basis to achieve customer service promises while minimizing costs.

You will partner with key stakeholders in operations and logistics to ensure efficiency in the overall production to delivery process. The role is fast-paced and requires resilience and attention to detail on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will have experience as a production planner within FMCG, a practical understanding of demand, supply, and S&OE disciplines, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and release Production Plan and chair the Supply Review for the site
  • Work closely with Manufacturing to manage the daily schedule
  • Daily reporting and root cause analysis of issues (DIF & Dated), escalation of relevant issues
  • Management of Finished Goods stock levels at production site and Regional DCs
  • Responsible for communicating to key stakeholders (Demand, Materials, Operations, and Logistics) any changes to plan
  • Maintenance of relevant Master Data to support the supply planning process

About you

  • Experience as a production planner within FMCG
  • Practical understanding of demand, supply, and S&OE disciplines with a continuous improvement mindset
  • A 'Can Do' attitude with a high level of resilience for fast-paced environments coupled with strong analytical skills, rational decision making, and negotiation skills
  • Very strong communication skills with an ability to develop relationships and engage with key stakeholders
  • Proficiency using technology tools that enable planning and reporting – SAP, MS Excel, PowerBI
