Senior Case Manager Role

Making a meaningful difference in your community is at the heart of this Senior Case Manager position. As part of our organization's mission to protect the community and reduce reoffending, we're seeking an individual who can deliver evidence-informed case management and tailored support to individuals under supervision orders.

This role requires you to work closely with adults subject to community orders, ensuring their cases are managed effectively to maintain high community safety. You'll also have the opportunity to consult with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to address Indigenous over-representation in the criminal justice system.

Your key responsibilities will include negotiating and resolving conflicts with stakeholders at all levels. To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to work self-sufficiently in complex environments.

  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience working within legislative frameworks is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Possession of a C class Australian driver's licence is mandatory for this position.

This role involves travel and work across various locations, so you'll need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances. Additionally, you'll be required to complete a Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) within 12 months of employment and achieve certification within 18 months.
