Hiring and Supporting Local Talent

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Utility All Rounder to join our team in Rockhampton. As a Utility All Rounder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, and tavern operations.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for village residents. You will be working on a 2/1 roster, which means you will have two days on site and one day off. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Australian Permanent Resident
  • Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred)
  • A valid police check issued within the last 3 months or willingness to obtain one
  • A Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment
  • Standard 11 surface mining induction or willingness to obtain
  • RSA Certificate (desired)
  • Driver's License/Photo ID required
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from site
