About the Role

The Senior Director, Policy will oversee the development and delivery of policies and strategies that support increased information governance capability and maturity across the ACT Public Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver policies and strategies to improve information governance capability and maturity.
  • Oversee the work of teams that promote improved recordkeeping practice and awareness of the value of records within government and the community.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to achieve shared goals and resolve differences.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of information management and records management frameworks.
  • Ability to lead teams and build capacity in strategic information management.
  • Highly-effective interpersonal and communication skills to influence outcomes and represent the ACT Government.

Desirable Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in archives, records, information governance or related fields are highly desirable.
