This role offers a unique opportunity to sell products and solutions to key customers in the allocated geography, with a focus on Utilities, Mining, Transport, Renewables, Power Generation & Transport sectors.

Job Description

\

The Account Manager will develop and implement an account strategy for growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. They will manage 7-8 key accounts in target markets, developing business plans to grow the customer base and strategies to ensure attainment of sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts, developing business plans to grow the customer base and strategies to ensure attainment of sales goals.\
  • Communicate details in accordance with supply, offering and strategy; achieve/exceed sales targets set for the territory/state and country targets.\
  • Establish and develop account relationships based on a defined strategy; act as focal point for problem resolution; monitor customer claims.\
  • Sell products/solutions/services to customers focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets; monitor competitors' activity and formulate appropriate response strategies.\
  • Develop business plans to grow the customer base and market strategies to attain sales goals; ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.\

    • Tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering/commercial qualification or recognized equivalent.\
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in the energy sector.\
    • Knowledge in HV Energy Sector at a technical level; good understanding of products; local market knowledge is beneficial.\

      • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.\
      • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer bases in the energy sector would be highly desirable.\
      • Familiarity with industry trends and developments, as well as a deep understanding of product offerings and capabilities, would also be advantageous.\
