CREST Education comprises of two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students and a range of facilities. We cater to various educational needs through our Early Learning to VCE levels, including mainstream, IB and VM programs.
We provide a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop their talents and prepare for leadership and service roles.
The RoleA fixed-term position is available for an experienced Teacher within our Rivercrest Primary & Hillcrest campuses.
The successful candidate will:
Student Support and Inclusion- Develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Provide targeted interventions and adjustments to ensure equitable access to learning.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to embed inclusive practices across the curriculum.
- Work closely with families and external agencies to support student development.
- Build positive relationships with students, recognizing and responding to their individual needs.
- Promote student well-being and social-emotional development in line with Christian values.
- Model restorative approaches to behavior management in partnership with families.
- Adapt curriculum materials to align with Victorian Curriculum/IB frameworks and meet diverse learning needs.
- Integrate digital tools and assistive technologies to support student engagement.
- Incorporate Biblical principles into teaching and learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with legislative requirements.
- Provide timely communication and reporting to parents and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and child safety standards.
- Advocate for students with additional needs within the school community.
- Foster partnerships with parents and allied health professionals.
- Participate in school events and activities that strengthen the school community.
- Bachelor of Education (Special Education) or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning.
